Mobile Expertise Limited aims to meet the demand for repairing Maxon DM200 Mobitex modems with its experienced in house service department. By creating the new department on the same site as the post production facility, Mobile Expertise can now offer a centralised one stop shop for all past DM200 Mobitex modems and also configurations for its new me-d400 high power Mobitex modem, which has replaced the DM200.
The experienced repair department enables Mobile Expertise to offer even more value added services, opening up opportunities in terms of new repair business and strengthening ties with its existing customer base. Offering fixed prices for in and out of warranty repairs, the department has the latest equipment, which is the key to Mobile Expertise`s extended repair capabilities.
Most Mobitex modems have a finite life of operation, resulting in many units requiring a software re-flash or repair services even on the most common types of modem, which are often unsupported by the manufacturer. Not only are modems repaired to the original specification, but engineers can also make sure that systems are optimised for the required network before being returned.
The DM200 and its replacement, Mobile Expertise`s me-d400 and me-d400gps are modems that run on the Mobitex network in the UK and around the world offering secure mission critical communication for blue light services and other services where reliable data transmission is essential.
